Kennon J. Martin, DPM

Dr. Martin is very familiar with the Sacramento Valley area, as his parents moved to Modesto, CA, in 1949. He grew up in Modesto, until he went away to school. He graduated from La Sierra College (now La Sierra University), Riverside, CA with a BA in Biology. He taught science in Modesto before starting podiatric medical school. He graduated from the California College of Podiatric Medicine (now Samuel Merritt University) in 1975. He completed his surgical residency at Hawthorne Hospital, Hawthorne, CA. After practicing in Modesto for a few years, he purchased the practice of Donald Caviness, DPM in Paradise in 1984 and started the Paradise Podiatry Group. Calvin C. Layland, DPM, was a partner in the practice until his untimely death in 2005. Dr. Martin is board certified in both Podiatric Surgery and Primary Care in Podiatric Medicine, by the American Board of Multiple Specialties in Podiatry. He is a long-standing member of the California and American Podiatric Medical Associations. In 2011, Robert M Victor, DPM, assumed ownership of the Paradise Podiatry Group. Dr. Martin is pleased to continue his association with the Paradise Podiatry Group.

Dr. Martin still enjoys working in the practice of podiatric medicine and surgery, and is at the Paradise office on Thursdays. He also works part-time (three days a week) with the Veterans Administration Outpatient Clinic in Chico. Dr. Martin enjoys spending time with his family and grandchildren.

 

 Robert M. Victor, DPM

Dr. Victor grew up in Camarillo, CA and graduated from UCLA in 1997 with a B.S. in Biochemistry.  He earned his D.P.M degree from California College of Podiatric Medicine (Samuel Merritt University). He completed his residency training at the Carl T. Hayden VA Medical Center in Phoenix, AZ. During his three-year residency program, he received comprehensive training in trauma and reconstructive foot and ankle surgery, sports medicine, and diabetic foot management.  After practicing on the Oregon Coast, he moved with his family to Paradise early in 2011. He is board certified in foot surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery and a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons.

Dr. Victor is happy to be back home in California. He enjoys playing with his 3 children, gardening and watching classic movies.
